Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Theophany. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Theophany.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Theophany. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile information up to date.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Spam, scrape, or automate the service in ways that harm it or other users.
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the service or access data you are not authorized to.
• Use Theophany for commercial purposes other than through Ministry Pages in good faith.

All use is also subject to our Community Guidelines, which provide more detail on the spirit and standards of our community.

Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Theophany a license to host, display, and distribute that content within the service. You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to share it.

Subscriptions and Billing

The Faithful plan is a paid subscription billed monthly ($8) or annually ($80) through Stripe. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; existing subscriptions continue at the then-current rate until renewal.

Ministry Pages and Fundraising

Faithful members may create Ministry Pages and fundraisers. You are responsible for the accuracy of any ministry, parish, or business you represent and for complying with applicable laws, including charitable solicitation and tax rules. Theophany does not handle donations directly and is not a party to any fundraising transaction.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or for any reason we believe protects the community.

Disclaimers

Theophany is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of content posted by members or the uninterrupted availability of the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Theophany and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
